Imagine you wake up and you’re in a jail cell... Blackout is the true story of a teenager charged with attempted murder who tries to piece together the events in his life that have brought him into a secure unit and threaten to keep him there. Get up and Tie your Fingers

This play dramatises the daily lives of the herring lassies, whose lives were dominated by work, overshadowed by the moods of the sea, but released in the telling of stories and the singing of songs. A local choir will be included in the performances.
Thats a waiting quiet, that is. Aye, were all waiting and watching, every last one of us. Spring is tipping over into summer and the herring should be here. The silver darlings Get Up and Tie Your Fingers by Ann Coburn.

Seraphine
Performance: Directed by Martin Provost

Seraphine

Winner of Best Film at France’s César awards, this utterly
beguiling film about a cleaning lady with the artistic gifts of a Van Gogh is just a bit special. Before and after World War One, her response to the beauties of the landscape simply poured out on to canvas, her employers and local townsfolk alike merely regarded her as a borderline-certifiable old bat.
Cert: PG.
