ART Artistic Realisation Together

Youth Exchange England & France (Reunion Island) - Erasmus +

King’s Lynn Arts Centre is delighted to offer young people aged between 18 to 25 years old the unique opportunity to take part in a European Youth Exchange with Reunion Island (located in the Indian Ocean)! Selected participants will travel across the Channel and beyond to meet French people and realise a cultural project together!

The main objective of this project is to connect 8 young people from Norfolk, England with 8 young people from Reunion Island who are interested in Arts and Culture to share a real life experience and create a collective Artistic Realisation Together.

Young people from England will first go to Reunion Island from 13th to 24th February 2015 (travel days excluded) to take part in different workshops about traditional dance, drama, music and more. An amazing programme has been set up for them! England will then welcome the young Reunionese in King’s Lynn to continue this intercultural experience and meet actors, a beat boxer and other artists!

From this experience young people will hopefully find out more about themselves, discover a foreign culture and share their own culture with others.

Finally from this project we aim to raise awareness about the European Union and European Citizenship. It is a great opportunity to encourage international mobility and non-formal education.

The only cost for you will be related to the travel. You will not pay anything for the accommodation or the food. For this trip we will ask you a contribution of £260  and you will need to be able to get to the airport in London at your own expense. (Airport needs to be confirmed).

This project has been advertised in the past but due to delay in receiving the funding, we would like to draw it to your attention again as we are now ready to go!

Seats are booked in the plane and we only have a few places left for this amazing offer!

For those who could be interested, you will have to complete an application form! For more info email [email protected] or call 01553 779095!
